"Santa Corona" adaptor for 22" kettles?
« on: March 09, 2017, 06:06:58 PM »
This has been showing up in my Facebook feed:

(That works out to about $239. Also available is a rotisserie kit, and a pan that sits on the grate to raise and lower the coals relative to the spit.)

On the one hand, this is extremely cool!

On the other hand, if I have a Weber kettle, what will this do for $239? My kettle will already grill stuff just fine.

What say say you all?

I can't see the image?

Edit.   Looks like a Santa Maria grill attatchment.  I may be wrong(just because this is not familiar to me), but it's basically just an adjustable grill grate.

No image here...
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

I don't really care about the Santa Maria attachment part but that table I really like.  If it is built and shipped in a box that is reasonably sized and easy to put together and a kettle can be dropped in easily I'd imagine there'd be a good market for it.  Say someone had a 22 inch OTG but they wanted to upgrade to something similar to a Performer and they could buy a table/cart like this for $200 or less.  They'd probably sell a decent amount.

That's quite a contraption.

Click the link and it says $1199.  Just a little too rich for my blood.  Table looks nice though.
