26" ugliness
« on: February 14, 2017, 11:41:37 AM »
Pick this thing up for $20. Metal handle was bolted on this bowl to replace a handle that came off.  Not sure what I'm going to do with this thing?

Once its cleaned up I will cook on it.  I already two other 26" I use.  I thought about taking that handle off and using some high temp jb weld to fill the holes.

Clean it up and cook on it!  If you want to make it look more original, you could pull a handle strap off of another grill, weld it on there, and use a wooden handle.  I may have a strap around if you decide to go that way.

Awesome score. Don't let that handle bug you. Cook  it up and enjoy.

Its not hard to weld a handle on. Looking at the pics though, just clean and cook. Youll love cooking on a 26". So much room
