Ah yes another neglected Weber finds it forever home. As I have said before I love twins ;D
Because Here we are Friends. Here we are Brothers.
A family in the name of Weber.

yeah, the grill had sentimental value
it was his brothers, who died 20 years ago.

his brother really loved the grill, so this guy inherited that love.
it sat in a barn for 20 years.

he was extra reluctant to sell because he thought that I would be re-selling for a profit.
Once he understood that it would be restored and cherished he felt much more comfortable.
It'd be cool to show the former owner pictures of it after it's restored. That would be neat. Age wise, those should be in the '64-'68 range with the wood lid handles and all. By "Patent Pending" era, these were gone in favor of the brownies. They must have used a different "dye lot" when they porcelainized these, guessing they are from different years.

I am in need of one. Since I picked up my free blackie. I'm wanting a cool one like yours to go on your old redhead. It's got a modern black cover on it right now. Protected from the hail we're getting.

Troy, What ever happened to that "Super Awesome" Woodale chestnut older one with the peg leg? That would also be a really nice one to have here. Brian, would you say the darker one is closer to orange? Very nice collection!
