My 3rd generation 22" stacker build

Well it started with a 44g stainless drum that I acquired and cut the ends off, cut at the ridge and dry fitted.

I can see you are on the right track @Antisven84 !!

Finding a drum that is the exact dimension that the kettle bowl lip fits is like a needle in a haystack!

You have my undivided attention sir!

What kind of pharmaceuticals came in that drum? SS drum where did you come by that?

Stainless piano hinges were cut and notched to allow 4 retractable grate levels


Handles and hinges Riveted with stainless as well


A smoky mountain probe grommet also added


And latching to clamp the assembly to the lip of underlying weber


Test fitting the hinging

Additionally I've cleaned up the writing on the barrel and fitted it on a red daisy wheeler, the daisy wheel vents allow future stoker addition to the setup. And it looks mad in red
