I just ordered the metal table from eReplacementparts because the plastic table on my Gen2 cracked.  Has anyone had any durability issues with the new metal tables?

The paint seems to be nicely bonded.  Any issues with scratches or stains?

Thanks, It is not coming in until Monday and I am dying to see how it will look on my black Gen2.

I think it will look sharp. I'm interested to hear the responses regarding durability also. I assume once it scratches it will start to rust pretty fast?

It's flat out the best upgrade I've made on any of my grills.  I wouldn't hesitate in a second to buy one for a grill I intended to own and use.

I have not tested mine with any hot items being set on it, but it is way better than the old plastic ones.  Cleanup is so much better.  I like that it is completely flat and does not have the raised perimeter like the plastic ones.  I would always have my cutting board sitting at angle and juices would start to run.

No issues whatsoever. Even stands up to the snow well.

I love mine, I don't regret buying the upgrade.

How thin and flimsy is it? I have to reach around my cracked plastic one and grab the front legs to move my Performer or the end is going to break off.  If my charcoal bin is full and I lift in center of table, is it going to bend?

Highly unlikely.

The metal table has a rolled edge right where you are describing.

This table is an excellent upgrade. If yours has a crack, or worse, call Weber CS and see what they can do for you.

Easy

The metal table is thick and strong enough to support the weight of the grill plus anything you can load on it. Mine has been out side in the weather for a year now no issues. Easy to vlean handles high heat . Great addition.

I have a relatively new Performer with the metal table.  The grills location is subject to high winds so to keep the cover on it, as well as my other grills, I use magnets.  For whatever reason my 2 circular magnets left marks on the table that I wasn't able to remove.  As a last resort I tried Bar Keepers Friend which damaged the powder coat hammered finish.  So I would not use anything abrasive on it but the table is plenty rigid.  You will like it.

I had mine replaced on my 2015 CB performer. It's a year and a half old and sees the most use of any kettle I own but is still garaged and never sees weather. The table is very solid but is completely faded. I asked weber customer service about the finish fading and they were adamant about sending a replacement
