The chicken/fish handles have to be for a specific project???

They are a gift from @Shoestringshop. He had Brian make them up special and send to me. I had thought to put them on the 26er but those Zebras were calling to me.

Those handles Hoss has are as nice as it gets....I forgot how good they looked!  Did I make you some Koa?

Gorgeous handles, @MrHoss ! I especially love the 2 screw ones in that bunch.  As usual, nothing but amazing quality from @zavod44 ............

^^^ @zavod44 and @Scott Zee ..... yes those are your work Brian... and it was a lot of 3 double rivets I got at the bbq where it rained bad. Scott admired the Koa ones I picked up so he got one a couple Christmas's ago. I was thinking about putting one on the new Avocado 18 I have....I think it is gonna clean up very well. Thing is it to be correct the handle should have no logo. Logos came into effect in 75 and this kettle is 72-74. MacEggs has offered me a Mahogany no logo model from Chicago...it is special wood. I like saying Mahogany.

The creamy tones of the Koa play well with with yer Yeller Scott.

Well the originals weren't Koa or mahogany so I would say if it has a logo or not it doesn't matter at that point anyhow

I realize. Thing is I like the variation in handles plus the whole retro thing is cool and the handle is special. Mac had this wood from way back and I have a couple of Kettles with handles from the same batch. One of them is a Yellow 18 from the late 70's. So having a pair with handles from the same wood ought to be cool I think. Mac is a bud too so that makes it all the more betterer. Hahhahah ahaha.

I need to show the friggin sweet knife that Mike gave me.  For those who do not know @MrHoss if you are in his circle of friends, he will do anything for you.  I am very blessed to be in that circle.

It was a great visit and way too short.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.
