Where to get roti
« on: November 10, 2016, 10:32:36 AM »
Just planning ahead. I think this is an accessory I would like. Also should I get one for the 26 or the 22?

I was lucky enough to work out a deal with another local grillfella to score a roti and ring from a botched Letgo deal.   Total shenanigans but hey... a roti and ring for 25 bucks???  You bet. :)  Can't wait to spin up a chicken or turkey on this bad boy.  Cleaned up very nice too.

Good Luck!!

Jeff
Lets just say I have acquired a few Kettles.  Big and small.   Vintage and New...  Some say I have a problem.  I find the Kettle, buy the Kettle, USE the Kettle...No problem...

So, do you want the Weber one or are you willing to get another?

Brand doesn't make any difference. I want the best one.

Anyone have the Cajun bandit one?  They look like the same price as the ones on amazon but look higher quality.

I'd love to find a 26r size. I have a 22 Weber roti. $150 new from Weber. Best investment ever! If you can score one cheap, even better. This is hands down the best investment for a Weber IMO

Without looking first, what sizes does Cajun bandit offer? 26?

Holy S$&t! I looked them up. They do offer the 26.75 size... for about the price of my right nĄt! I wonder if that would be the size of the Fleetwood or the newer size 26r?

They show both on their site. I'm driving so can't look it up but I think the 26 is 189

I have the ring for my 22.5. Great quality, and SS to boot. Fits like a glove. Spit and motor are average, but nothing wrong with them. Buy it for the ring, and use it on the kettle or WSM by flipping it. They make one for the 26er, but it's powdercoated steel, not SS. I can't speak to the quality of that one.

Yeah, Hoosier, it's 190. $150 new for Weber model. $190 for 26" Cajun bandit. Worth it. I think I might ask and see if it fits the Fleetwood and start saving. That would be worth it for me

Thanks for the input guys. I was leaning towards the 26 because it's my most used size. I'm going to save my pennies but hopefully sometime between now and Christmas.

That roti looks WELL made. So the 22 is ss but the 26 is not. From all the post, sounds like Cajun bandit is worth it. Great lookin bird!
