Great rubs ! I've become friends with Malcom and his wife and help them In Memphis in May . Try mixing the Bbq rub and his Hot 50/50 and his sauces 50/50. Also in steak competitions we use his Ap , layer of hot , and dust it with the steak rub  that's ground down. My home cooked steak is the Ap and hot.

Thanks for the suggestions!  I used a combo of AP and BBQ on ribs and a tenderloin and they were amazing.

I know that was great  ! They're really great down to earth and extremely humble people. His Bbq rub has little salt so using his Ap with it or mixing his hot and it 50/50 is money. Another tip a lot of comp guys use is after the ribs are wrapped and still a little moist add a layer of Bbq and put back on the smoker for 5 minutes to dry back out. The color is insane when doing this
