SERIOUS QUESTION: Is it time?

Is it time to create a separate forums for general kettle talk (hardware & accessories) and vintage kettles & collecting ?

I love reading and interacting on both topics...
But maybe not everyone feels that way.

Just thinking, looking for input :)

I guess I haven't thought about that. I think having it all together here encourages more discussion, interaction and participation. So, I would say no.

I'm with Craig. hard to draw the line, and there are fascinating things to learn and see on both ends of the spectrum. It's all Weber. It's all good.

I agree with others.  But since idea of  creating separate  forum came up, I like to bring up or suggest section for Non Weber Grills.  Sub section under Weber Grill Forum should be fine.  Good example topics- Not a Weber, but cool nonetheless. and Anyone here regularly use a Kamado?

I see lot of members interested and have other neat non Weber charcoal grills.  I have been on both sides where I wasn't sure where I should put the Topic or few times saw a good topics that technically do not belong in this forum. The main idea is to keep this section purely Weber related. But at same time, encourage discussions of other non Weber separately.  Side benefit would be keeping more of the members here to discuss whatever they have and are interested.

It is just an idea I had.  What you all think?

I'm on board with leaving it as is.  The way the traffic is now, I don't think there are an overwhelming amount of posts to keep up with in this topic area.

+1. But I will admit that there are topics in this forum that I am way more interested in than others.

Right now there is already an issue of people posting things in not quite the right place (cook pics in the Grilling and BBQ section) so I don't know if it would help keep things more organized or not.  (Says the guy who wanted a separate pizza section 6 months ago!)
