I've never seen SS grates for any WSM. I'm sure custom is an option. Let us know if you find them, I could use new grates myself.

The Weber part numbers are 80634 for the top cooking grate (17.5"), 80624 for the lower cooking grate (17"), and 63013 for the charcoal grate (15.25") .
Call Weber, check Amazon or eReplacementparts to buy them.
I too have never heard of them in stainless.
I've got Webers. 10 - WSMs, 5 - 22.5" kettles, 2 - 18.5" kettle, 2 - SJS, 2 - SJP, 4 - WGA, 1 vintage Coolie Pan

Weber used to make a 22 stainless but no more.
Look around at other manufacturers and see if anyone makes an 18" SS grill
I don't care if you don't like my Avatar, its there for me..

Aren't the old wsm grates stainless?

Not sure,  if they were then mine must have replacements, the top grate is ok but the bottom and charcoal is pretty rusted and deformed.

never have seen stainless for the 18.5 either.

When I replaced mine I used a grate from an 18.5 kettle for the top (Home Depot).
Got the lower grate on line.

The lower grate looks like it is a plated charcoal grate from a 22.5 kettle.

@pbe gummi bear Little late to the party, but my C code doesn't have SS grates. If I'm correct, that was the first production year.
Still need a 22” yellow

for my 18" wsm, 2008 manufacture, the lower cooking grate is identical to the charcoal grate in my 22" kettle though it is coated, as stated above.

I really want to get some decent priced charcoal grates, as mine are on their last breath, but I can't find decent priced ones anywhere. guess I'm going to just have to brake down and pay the 35 bucks.
