I've always been annoyed by the lack of graduation markings on my SSP One Touch vent controls.  It would be nice to know how far open they are.  I've marked the Ash Catcher Ring with sharpie and this works fine but doesn't look so nice.

I decided to do something about this.

This is what I called the various settings.

Do these look right?

To arrive at the spacing, I measured 3 SSP One Touch Ash Sweeps (2 were H style and 1 was H style converted from 7409 with formerly ash bar Ash Catcher) and averaged several measurements.

Pardon the dirty bowl. This is a cooker.

It would be cool to make a bunch of these for the club.

It would be nice to find someone that could mass produce this for us.  https://www.frontpanelexpress.com is pretty good for prototyping, but expensive for production.

I've got 5 more grills I'd like to add this to, but not for what https://www.frontpanelexpress.com charges.

Very impressive! I would buy a few of these as well.

These are nice. They are engraved and infilled with color.

I went with their thinnest aluminum, it would be nice thinner. It did bend easily.

I can send the file to anyone that wants to order one. You could edit it if desired. Choose different colors of anodizing and infill colors etc.

It was $40, including tax and shipping.

Hopefully it will hold up to heat. I have no idea what the colors are made of.

I'd love to see this. I'd buy a bunch.

I don't know where to begin to get them produced.

We could put the WKC logo between 3/4 and Open and maybe raise some money for the club.

Don't see copper.

@Winz I was wrong.  They'll use customer provided material, including copper.

"We can work with almost any non-ferrous material you provide. Not only are we able to work with powder coated or painted off-the-shelf panels, but we can also machine enclosure parts.

Besides aluminum, our machines can also process most non-ferrous metals and plastics. Check here for a list of material options."
