The first owner take a look 1983 German Weber Catalog
On page 5 you can see the Brown model as 47er 18",recognize the dark ring in the lid .
On page 4 , he then his desire kettle in size 57cm 22,5", note the nice chassis of the '83 model , he crosses his favorite color .
So he goes to the merchant Cuton in Waltenhofen and fills out his order form about 625 DM . Which is now 315 Euro around 300 Dollars 1983 a lot of money
Some days later he picks up his kettle and grilling exactly 1 time
Many decades later, I get the kettle out of his garage and not even have to brush them . Produced still in Arlington Heights not in Palatine .

https://pl.vc/174df9Why i want sell this kettle? I think its something for an collector with a showroom. I dont have a good space for it. I love old kettles which i can use.
In the 80s are Millions of kettles sold in the USA. But in Europe / Germany only small number of thousands , so something like this is extremly rare.
I think the collector price for this extremly rare kettle is 500$ (plus shipping) and thats my asking price. I will not sell the kettle for 100-200$, so dont try.
