Vent tab handle
« on: June 10, 2016, 06:37:41 PM »
So my father just bought a new Master Touch to replace one of his kettles that he gave away. He loves it! He likes the ash catcher & the tab on the upper damper. He has a DO date code OTS that he would like to add these items to. Does any one have the part number for these items or the items themselves they are willing to part with? Can the tab be purchased from Weber or is it the whole damper? Thanks

I ordered some from ereplacements and had to wait for them to come off back order.
What you want(maybe) are the tabs. If so, and you get them, they are hard to put
on the vent. Place them on the vent like you were installing them and heat your kettle
up and as they warm, you can force them on. be careful not to damage the damper.
Win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat.

@zavod44 can make wood vent tabs for you. Look much nicer and stay cooler.
Still need a 22” yellow
