I'm was thinking of buying the summit charcoal grill but I will not buy until I can see it in person on web site it says to put in your zip code and I did and there were none available for that zip code so I guess I wont get one because I'm not going to order it on line.

They are only available through independent dealers and select True Value or Ace stores that have a good Weber dealership.

If your zip code did not work, try some zip codes in nearby larger cities. Chances are pretty solid you are within an hour of a dealer, unless you are in the middle of Montana maybe.

Expand your reach; I'd be surprised if some bigger dealer like Rick's Ace in Town and Country or Foresaw on S. Lindbergh didn't have it. Call around, this won't be carried just anywhere.

Yes... I saw... but I guess my question is why do you have to see in person before buying? Is there a particular part of it you want to take a look at before buying?

@ $1500+, I'd be examining every inch of it before plopping down payment.

I'm trying to figure out the dealer thing as well.  I'm in Louisville, KY and the closest dealer carrying one appears to be 100+ miles away up in Cincy.  Looking further away on the list, I see all these towns/cities that are much smaller than Louisville.

I agree. Feeling the weight thickness and build quality might legitimize the cost.

Yep. Looking at it in person definitely helps you understand the quality of the build.

I'm still not getting one any time soon, but I have a lot more confidence in its ability to compete against the Kamados now that I've seen it in person.
