Congrats!  @Mark Schnell

i'm surprised you left the taco shell on, but it looks good with the zav!

I decided that if I took off the taco shell it would just be a really tall goofy looking handle. At least with the taco shell the size of the handle kind of makes sense. It actually doesn't bother me that much, especially with the Zav handle.

Found this on a Canadian site, hope I'm not breaking any rules posting this. Delete if I am.

Wow that is one nice looking kettle @Mark Schnell. Did you order it from Johnstones? Did you have to set up the UPS shipment or did they handle it? How much was the shipping cost? Thanks Jim.

Beautiful! Looks amazing in the sunlight!

Our local Weber store was just bought out by another company. Waiting for them to change over to grab an Ivory MT. Hoping the service is as great as before.

Nice collection! The Limited Edition MT looks great and even better with the handles. Where can I get a set of those?
Thx in advance,
Eric

@TKO BBQ at the top of the page look on the left side of the menu bar. Click on wooden handles and it'll show you all about it. Brian Zavod is the man and he can even do custom stuff like your favorite team, your name, etc.

@JDD I bought mine through the company listed in this threadhttp://weberkettleclub.com/forums/trading-post/weber-colored-master-touch!!!/  I started sharing my experience on page three.

The shipping was about fifty bucks through UPS and I didn't have to do anything, they just used UPS. I paid around $255 total with the exchange between Canadian and USD.

I love that color.  Is there any way to get that in the US?
These are only available in Canada.  They are available at most Alliance dealers.

For those in the west (WA)
There is a dealer in the Okanagan just across the border from Orville that will have them for $299.00 CAD. a steal with the dollar right now. I think they may even do preorders. Accent fireplace gallery. www.accentfireplacegallery.ca

Welcome @girly griller, do you work for Accent Fireplace?
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

The new cooker looks sweet and the new handles send it over the top.  Congrats!

I was concerned about the slate going too purple, but it looks great in the pictures you took.  I really like the color.  Maybe it just needs to be outside.  Thanks for posting those shots.  Keep them coming!

it does look great, that's for sure.

the dark handles really work with slate.  (i'm yet to see a dark handle on a kettle not look good though).
I only use kettles with lid bales.
