Target sold an exclusive copper with black handles several years ago. 2011, maybe?

Update… found a couple of threads that mention the Target copper OTS has an AA vent code, which does make it 2011. Sold for one year.

…and for that price, I'd buy it  ;)

I hope to find one of these someday to do just that.

It makes for a nice kettle:

I blacked out the legs and put an ash catcher with a black bowl on it.  The copper/black contrast really pops.

@Winz Pretty. It really does pop. I'm all for wood handles, but with the black/copper contrast... Why not leave the black handles?

Personal preference.  The black plastic looks fine, but one of my favorites for a copper kettle is Mahogany.  This handle was a gift from @MacEggs and looks stunning on copper.

Modern Copper. Introduced in 2011 as a one year Target stores exclusive. Was slightly glossier than the current copper that came out for 2014-present.

Related colors: Chestnut Coppertone (two tone pink) 1956-1968

Copper Mist (two tone chocolate brown) 1969-1991 or so.

It's mine. First color in the stable, and somewhat unique. Looking forward to the cleanup.
