My MIL surprised me with what she called a Weber Book . She said she spotted it at a estate sale, immediately thought of me and bought it . I was surprised to find several quarterly issues of the " Grill out Times"  dating from 1997 all the way till 2004, 15 total, a full color Weber gas cook book an owners manual as well as other weber printed items including a 50 years of weber poster  all in a nice Weber notebook.

What an awesome score and X-mas present! The Grill Out Times is a great Grillfella resource with lots of rare kettles and owners featured inside.

Wow! The article "and the winner is ..."  says that all of the top five entrants in the oldest Weber kettle contest were "original Weber kettles". What was the date on that issue? I wonder how many have tried or will try to track down the Dr. or others whose kettles are pictured in these old publications now that more are collecting them?

Got those same issues and let me tell you they are good reads. These books first let me know there's more to weber than what these stores have in their meager showrooms. The way Target is "streamlining" their Weber products every year I bet by the year 2020 they'll be out the weber game. But I digress does anybody know what years the Grill out times run?
