Chicken and potatoes

Also had some steamed carrots sautéed in butter with garlic and thyme but forgot plated pics.

It's not spatchcocked, I actually split it in two halves

Good looking yard bird! The color is perfecto!  Looks very moist with the type of skin that holds a lot of flavor and crunches when you take a bite.

It's the simple meals like this that I prefer the most.  Looks delicious!

And, I too prefer to cook them as halves … Much easier to move around with tongs.

Can I / we assume that these were cooked on a kettle??  Just wondering …  ;) ??? :P
