My Grill Station Work Table (With Side-Burner!)
« on: November 17, 2015, 03:13:33 PM »
I have had a tough time deciding where to post this. :-\

It was an online find... was a gasser... kinda off topic... Oh well, now it is an accessory!  :o
I found a cheap Genesis Silver C on Craigslist. I didn't need another gasser, but I had this nice, thick sheet of aluminum, and nowhere to put it.
I also had been wishing that I still had a side-burner ever since I got rid of my last Silver C.
Now I have plenty of room to work by my grills and smokers!  8)

Your mod looks great and will be very useful!

I have an old gasser, with side burner, that I converted just like that. Well, almost anyway. Right now, I use a piece of plywood. So far, I have only used it for deep frying fish tacos. Keeps the stink outside!

Awesome work station there John!
I'm gonna start keeping my eye out for some cheap gasers now, if for nothing else than the carts.

Great idea.  I have seen old Weber gas grills for cheap cause the are beat up.  For little money I see how the cart can be utilized.  Cool!!!!
