Cut up and old serpentine belt to fit.

I also used a serpentine belt.  1. wrapped the wheel  with a roll of black electrical tape. 2. Cut the serpentine belt to fit the wheel. 3.  attached the serpentine belt to the electrical tape with finishing nails.  4. drove the nails below the surface of the  belt.  5. caulked the holes created by the  nails. 6.  Caulked around the edges of the wheel.

This is a recent picture. I repaired the wheel about a year ago.  It is not perfect but has held up well considering it has been outside the entire time.  I need to refresh the caulk and address one of the finishing nails.

Cool! The Ranger is one of my favorites. Imo, that design should have been very popular. Stability, mobility....cripes, could even move mulch w/ it.
