Weber Bros Metal Works grill....
« on: August 16, 2015, 05:40:26 AM »
Thanks you again Mr. Hoss for being my agent.   18.5" model which I haven't seen before.

small flat spot in the center of the lid and two dimples.

The top of the utility pan was sprayed black with a rattle can.  That was quickly removed.  The bottom of the pan has a copper coating (not paint)...interesting.  There is a blob of it on the top of the pan

chrome plated steel legs, pipe leg sockets, and the optional ash pan.

Sweet! So the ash pan was an option.

And what about the copper? Interesting.

Yes, the ash pan was considered an accessory option at that time.  The bottom of the utility pan has a cooper colored coating on it.  Don't know
anything else about it.  There is a blob of this coating in the middle of the top too.

Sweet! So the ash pan was an option.

And what about the copper? Interesting.

Just a screw and nut on the front corner of the pan?

Good to see the Kettle next to that fence. Love the flat spot and the 2 dimples. This Kettle was found buried under stuff in a garage.

Yes just a screw and nut.  This one is the same way (screw and nut).

Ok. Is it just me or is the blue on this Kettle the same as on the inside of the wheel:
