This popped up on Gumtree on the weekend for $50.... Didn't last long and the WKC OZ Crew missed out
Here's the pics from the ad. Can anyone make out the year from the pics?

I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

I saw that one if it wasn't the other side of town I might have been tempted, did you see the later model one that was advertised not long after this one?

I'd guess late 70's, early 80's maybe.....it's got those groovy wheels you hardly ever see & I think those were a later style"

@Craig  will be the best to ask.....
"If you want it fancy there is BBQ spray paint at home depot for that. "
    Covered, damper-controlled cooking.....IF YOU PLEASE !!!
"But the ever versatile kettle reigned supreme"

I missed one last week. I asked the guy at the Flea Market / Furniture Store if he ever got any in. He told me a person he had renting one of his rental houses had just moved to California and left his Weber with a cover over it. He had rolled it to the curb for pick up the day before. If it were covered it probably was worth hauling home.
A Day Late on this one.

S.A. Boy ay, it's like our version of Chicago down there, always seem to be cool old kettles popping up
I just picked up a Blue 18 from there a week ago.

One just like that popped up on Kijiji for $30 near London, Ontario.  Too far for me though.

Do you OZ cats ever see kettles with Aussie beer logos pop up??? FourX, Vicky's Bitter, Etc?? Beer kettles are fairly common here in the states and I usually see one pop up every couple months or so.

@Cochise the only ones that pop up tend to be o/s brands like Heineken or Bulmers
A green VB kettle would be cool( even though I don't drink it)
