Green MBH
« on: April 12, 2015, 04:56:08 PM »

(split from "No explanation necessary...." thread)

@Jeff, check w/ Troy for pics sent via gallery@.
Let me know if you want more/better/different ones.

As for the back story...

My version...

Back in the day when my friend George and I were hanging out at a local BBQ joint, we were talking about different designs for new grill. I suggested he take one of the buoys from his company...

He knew green was my favorite color.

The real version...

The short version...

It came from a thrift store that was only open on the weekends     8)

a GREEN mbh!  I didn't even know they existed!

Dude, relax your chicken.

Green isn't my color but this is a lovely kettle. The real "avocado" IMO. I should have hijacked it on my leg of the kettle express. :-P

It's like a damn unicorn. I have a folder with sweet Kettle shots...set to slideshow sometimes. When this shot comes up:

it puts a big old smile on my face. That is one amazing picture right there. Did you take that shot Dazzo? If so...What is that pattern on the Kettle?

The funny thing is that all the Bay Area guys were passing on this for 4-6 weeks because it was so darn far away. It took awhile to get approval for the 30-min rule exception. Lol.

It would not have been possible without you Lawrence! Thanks!

MrHoss, the pattern is my patio cover.

It really shows off the skin on this California "Avocado"

I should have gone for that when it first came up. I actually started to go for it, but time and travel distance are always a challenge.
In hindsight, it ended up right where it needed to be!
