Restore of a crooked "k" redhead.

I just purchased a crooked "k" 18" redhead off of Craigslist for $10. The bowl is pretty rusted out but I still would like to bring it back to life. I am not getting it from my brother until October. He picked it up for me. I have until then to develop a plan of attack and figure out how to resuscitate it. I would love to make it a otg/mastertouch. It would go well with my '95 22" mastertouch. I think a plate will have to be welded to patch the rust in the bowl. I am open to any and all suggestions.
