That looks like one that was on CL here in the Maryland area. Looks like its in good shape. Is it grey or just faded?

Ya know, I've been asking myself the same thing.  I think its gray, but the top is definitely lighter than the bottom.

Fade Blackie......nice & even, but fade Blackie........favorite kettle here.....

Nice example.........used to be $15 all day long, but some folks seem to be getting a bit wise out there in the world.......

Gray is really gray....gloss gray......

    Covered, damper-controlled cooking.....IF YOU PLEASE !!!

Another way to tell a grey from a faded black is to rub the surface with a wet finger or rag. If it even temporarily turns darker then it's almost certain to be a faded black.

Thanks!  Got it in Auburn.  One of the cool things about living in Vacaville is the Bay Area and the foothills are about an equal distance.

Ahh so yer the guy that got it.. was talking to Winz and he asked me about it and I told him I knew nothing about it, if fact I went and made sure the A code I'm fostering was still here.
Y'all was up kicking the chickens awake and and I was busy sleeping. What other cookers you got your stable?

Thanks Man.  Looking forward to it!

Stu!  Your the one that got it!  I emailed the seller pretty early and followed up with a call around 8:30. He told me that someone was coming to pick it up. I thought for sure it was Mirkwood, given its in his back yard. Glad to see it stayed in the WKC.

What's the vent code?  Was the seller as grumpy in person as he was on the phone?

Can't get much info from the vent:

Nah, the seller was cool.  Younger guy, which surprised me.  I think HE was surprised that someone would drive an hour to buy an old grill.
