Performer Hunting - Double Bingo!
« on: July 07, 2014, 01:04:08 PM »
I've been hounding CL day and night looking for a one touch or performer to go alongside the 22.5 WSM I picked up ... TWO just popped up!  Now I'm having a hard time deciding which I'd choose if both are available when I contact the seller.

What do you think?

That's a rare plum SS up there. I personally like the SS tables but the gas assist compatibility/filling & recertifying 5lb tanks can be a pain. $150 without a tank is not a great deal for the SS, but it certainly has character. If you really want to make us jealous swap the plum into the newer style cart. Good luck!

plum is missing the tank. get him to knock 50 off the price. 100 seems fair :)

Same seller how about a two for one deal?  Maybe both for two hundred?  Then swap the bowls and flip the ss if you want. Or keep both because you just saved five hundred dollars!!

Plum SS for sure.

I've only seen one pop up around my area in the last couple of years.  I got it, but ended up trading it to MiniGrillin.

Dunno Ted judging from the locks on the SS the seller may be a little protective.  ;D

Funny- we are both in the same area!
I'm not pursuing these but it still surprises me another forum member in in Tallahassee- the population is about 300 thousand people.
I probably got the last one that popped up - The Green performer.

Good luck and we should meet up some time.

The plum has been procured!  I think it's really nice and probably considered great shape for its age.

Igniter looks brand new, but cannister and tube+regulator are missing.
No noticeable dents.
A couple nicks in the lid coating.
Very subtle corrosion on the edge of the lid.
One touch system is in great shape.
One missing wheel.

Pretty excited ... I'm going to replace bolts and give it a good deep clean.  Pics after.
