After hearing that I had just picked up my first colored kettle, a bruised brown one, brother ' G ' reached out with an offer I couldn't refuse; a RED one-touch, K code including new bottom-end.
He is local, so pickup was convenient, however the kettle is now cleverly disguised in my 1890's shed, so my wife wont know i picked it up. I dont have enough kettles to help it blend in, so I have to wait it out and play the ' . . . oh that old thing . . .' line a month or so down the line. if I can wait that long :-)
I am torn between assembling it on it's new legs or adding a splash of color to my Seville cart.
Bear with me until I can post pics a bit down the line! I wont post the pictures he sent me, but rather, will make you wait for my big reveal.
Thanks again Stu.
