Just some wings

I usually grocery shop by what meat is on sale.  Wings were $1.69lb, so wings it is.

I busted out the kitchen shears and separated the flappers.



Picked up Larry and figured this is as good as any to try him out on.



Seasoned and ready for a new hour rest

Thermapen says we're safe to eat, so I moved each of them to the center for a quick sear.

4 different sauces to pick from. Naturally, I had to make sure they were edible. I checked 12 times. 



These were probably some of the best wings I've made yet.  Might have to hit up the grocery store to stock up.

I regularly get flappers for $5.50 for 2 kgs which means it's about a buck thirty a pound. You just reminded me I haven't cooked any for a while. Time to get some.
