Roasted corn on the cob with bacon wrapped chicken breast.

Love the color when it heats up

Soaked the corn for about a hour , roasted on the 18 for about 45 minutes until tender, then we husk and grill again .

Using the Performer to get the chicken wrapped

He goes from yellow to blood orange , it's really a stunning color that the camera doesn't do justice .

There is wonder within this thread.

- nice outdoors setting with distant land, colorful foliage and I don't know why but extra points for grilling on grass

- hello? colored kettles?

- nothing says spring/summer like corn on the cob on a yellow Weber kettle

- food prep done outside

- One-Touch handle used as chimney hook, yo

- food not only looks great but is simple

- and what prompted me to post here: dinner, strategically staged and cooked entirely on an 18.5"
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

I've been looking around for another gasser or parts to fix mine for about a year now , I'm to the point where it needs to get fixed or sold to someone who has the parts to fix it , it deserves to be cooked on one way or the other , I'm open to anything that will help me accomplish that , even losing Ron Burgundy ( plum ) :)

What parts does the gasser need? My diffuser is bad, so I went a different route and put a new burner in mine...

Dude, relax your chicken.

Don't forget the beer and the world champion Seattle Seahawks Beer Koozy !

As my wife was watching and talking to her friend on the phone , I heard her say " oh he's playing with his grills , posing them like Barbie dolls " I was embarrassed , then I just drank another beer ! I accept what I am :)

I just started thinking along those lines yesterday.

This is the first piece I need , mine has had the gas knob shaft pulled out and it's gone , as you know this piece is the heart of it all , where the hoses meet and how the assembly attaches to the grill body .

I've thought about eliminating this piece in favor of something else , but then I have the issue of attaching it to the grill body , much easier to find this piece , I think .

Here's one of ideas

If I can find a fitting to attach this to the Venturi tube , then I have and on off and adjustment , it just won't be mounted in place like original . I'm also not sure what regulator to run ( pSI ) need for this grill .

Saw the yard beer can holder, yes. Extra points for not using the obvious choice for beer resting place, i.e. the Performer's table.

Next time wifey mentions Barbie dolls, tell her this:

"Why did Barbie and Ken never marry? Because Ken came in another box."

Nice cook. How come you soaked the corn? I've never done that before.

I do it both ways , but I really think I get juicier corn by steaming it in the husk prior to grilling it .
