Hey everyone, I have scanned the plans for grilling cart that a woodworking magazine did back in 2000. I can make the .pdf of the project available but I'm going to wait to hear from Troy on this. I don't want to get the site into any copyright issues. I can't find these plans online anywhere anymore. You can get almost all the other plans for other old projects. Makes me wonder if some people burned this thing up because the top was too close to the bowl and they pulled it off the net, or maybe even Weber didn't like how much it copied the Sequoia.

I'd wager that in 2000, Weber wasn't concerned with someone building their own changed version of a long-discontinued product.

Contact the magazine since its copyright material. They may be slow uploading older plans for sale, or don't allow it to be distributed. Or, they may not care at all.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Cool I'd like to see those plans ....I've got a few performer bowls that need homes.

How can I upload a .pdf? I always use photobucket for my photos but it won't accept a .pdf.

Idahawk

I'm sure someone will know if it's possible . I sent you my email , might be easier that way .

The email option is no problem if only a handful want one. But if a load of people want it that's a different story. I just tried to email it to you but the file was too large. I'm going to have to break it into smaller files.

If you have a Dropbox account, you could put it there and post a link to allow others to download it

Or save your PDF as JPEG or PNG if your software can do it. Then host on Photobucket.
