With the table constructed as part of Little Man's project for scouts, we can FINALLY declare the Crimson LE performer project a SUCCESS!
And little Man even jumped in for its maiden voyage!.

awesome result, even better that it was you and your son together
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

This is an awesome result! What paint did you use for the kettle or is that a kettle swap?
ISO cheap WSM 22", red SSP, and blue MBH. Have resto and repurpose projects in mind for Weber Kettles and will take any and all kettles that can be picked up from a decent distance or delivered to me, prices negotiable based on the kettle. (Not a collector, yall too serious with those display rooms)

Agree... amazing work and amazing little chef there!  If that is the same kettle as the original blue then you did some seriously good body work to fill in the voids and divots... would love to know the paint also.  Most of my repainting efforts (E-610 gasser full box, Performer frames, etc) never did have the same "hardness" as the original paint, so I had to learn to baby them and be careful over time.

Nice work and cool that your son helped!!!

What brackets did you use for the swap? I'm thinking the same project is in my future

That is a great project to get your kid into grilling and detailed wood work. He looks like a old pro with those burgers.
I am really liking that vent handle is that special or can it be fitted in all top vents?
Great color choice and even greater job finishing it all out nice details.
