SJ 180 PIC HEAVY

First let me start by giving a HUUUUGE Thanks to @Jed.cook .Without him this beauty wouldn't be in the herd. A few weeks back I'm surfing and I come across the ad that has been up for 12 days. Well I guess reaching out can't hurt, as I thought it was long gone. 15 minutes later I get a reply "Yes it is". I explain that I would like to have a friend pick it up. No problem. But there is a problem as Jed lives about 60 miles one way from it. I reach out and tell him the situation. He tells me he'll be passing right by there later in the week with his wife. Spoke with the seller and he was cool with that. Next day I look and the ad was taken down. I asked if he sold it and he replied " I took the ad down because I thought you wanted it". I tell him I WANT it and thanks for taking the ad down.. Jed picked it up as planned and promptly shipped it out. Seller was the original owner and it was used but has sat in the garage for years. I sent the seller a quart of syrup out of guilt, it was 10.00. It came yesterday, but I had my hands full. LOL so I got to do an initial cleanup on her today. My first offset and I couldn't be happier.

It's amazing how well the finishes hold up on these!  A little elbow grease and it looks beautiful again.  Nice job!  Love that speckled finish on the inside of the bowl and lid.
