How is the condition of the grates?

@Dan NY Surprisingly the cooking grate is in very good condition, the charcoal grate not so much.  What a big difference there is between the old cooking grates and the new.

I've been to an estate sale where the parents were running it. Something tragic must have happened.  the woman who lived there must have been 30 or so and kept ducking into the back room crying uncontrollably. Made for an uncomfortable situation. ...and she was hot. Which made it even more surreal. I felt bad for her..I pray she has found happiness again.

@JDD  No need for guilt.  Thank Kettle Karma for placing that venerable Kettle in the hands of someone that will RRR her.  Most often the left overs from Estate Sales end up in the trash bin because no one wanted those left overs enough to pay money for them    Thanks to you for saving this kettle.
