Did one of these last year so I used the dumping we got the other day to good use:
I will make the outside of the walls a little higher and mold in a couple side shelves. Right now I am smoking some sausages at about 165f:

The cook went good. It got windy as it got darker and the walls cut it good. I was able to smoke for about an hour and a half....then I added some coals and grilled them the last little bit:
