Wanted everyone to meet Daphne, a beautiful Pat Pending Statesman I picked up this week. This is just a grate grill with a VERY apeeling finish and probably the brightest Hunter Pink I've ever seen on a grill. It's complete, even sporting original charcoal rails and ashpan. What I find interesting is that it has a black triangle which I didn't realize Weber offered this early. The lid has 1 spot of rimrash and the bowl, 3 porcelain pops at the strap welds. No crazing or rust stains anywhere. All vents and leg sockets are rust free and solid. The rubber tread on plastic wheels is in perfect shape. Scored this from the original owner's daughter who finally decided to let her go when she switched to gas. When I told her how old it was she was shocked. The outside doesn't need much work as you can see, but the inside will get the once over this weekend. The black triangle and faded to almost black whitewalls almost give this grill a ratrod look that I'm really liking.
