I'm surprised. While using Stubb's Briquettes with 2,1 snake and both top and bottom vents fully open, the grill maintains about 225-235° at least with the hood thermometer. I know it's not correct but I believe it must be close at that low temp. My first snake making ribs.
Correction... I put my smoke thermometer in and it reads 193. That's how far off the hood thermometer is.
