So I had been a wanting a Kettle for while but I wasn't going to jump in with new one. I figure why not go with something with some character to it. And how does one do that, they find something that is 30+ years old.  So here's my E-Code that got me started a few weeks ago..

One spot of "patina"..

And here is his just aquired M-Code brother..

Here they are together. Almost look like twins.

Awesome twins be careful though they tend to reproduce like rabbits. Soon you will be wanting twins of all colors. And welcome to the club

Nice kettles, something cool about the old black ones.

Thanks! I find myself searching the online classifieds all the time. Colored versions seem a little more scarce around me. But I'm always hunting. The E Code will take a little work to get up and running, but I will get it there. I really want a Performer though. I'd roll with a Gen-2 but I really want a Gen-1 SSP to either mildly restore or mod a little.

Yeah the one touch is gone with rust, but looks like getting a new one should be pretty easy. Really just needs the sweeps and new grate and it will serviceable.
