Was a crazy weekend. Yesterday I had time to finish a refurb, This was a CL grill that was tossed to others local. All were out, but I said I would take, but was't in the area. Local member says he doesn't work far and would agent. Grill was free. These are hard to get to on a work day. Purchased a SS from member for my neighbor. Working things out he delivered two grills! Awesome, he wanted to see the recent Sequoia. Mark thanks!
I must say I have better luck cleaning the older grills. This was easier than Ms. O. It was faded, but lightly used. Had not the ash been left in for 40+ years and probably sitting out the same(little rust on the weld joints), would have just needed a Dawn wash. I need to clean the grate yet, but I still see chrome.
Plus I had found some wheels while cleaning for the Grad party. Thought it was a nice touch. It does roll nicer than the older wheels these have, smooth.
We all have a story, this hobby is my therapy. I have cleaned many, but these are part of my pride and joy, as investment was $0.00.
BTW, cleaned up Ms. O's lower half and cleaned up her handles...Not sure I dig the black triangle.
