Weber Kettle Club Forums

Welcome to the 2023 WKC Secret Santa - a fun way to to get to know more members and end the year with some holiday cheer.  Secret Santa is pretty simple, we'll blindly exchange names/addresses and do a little gift swap by mail. It's fun to get a grill-related gift and even more fun to give something nice to your fellow WKCers.

General Rules:

- $20 minimum suggested value. No maximum limit. Give from the heart, but don't tap your retirement fund. Make it personal. Keep it simple.
- Sign up deadline: December 15; 8pm EST.
- Ship via trackable shipping method in time to arrive before the end of the year. Shop early. Ship Early.
- Due to complications with shipping/customs/logistics internationally, this will be a US/Canada event only again this year.
- WKC is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
- Don't ship anything illegal, regardless what your member match is begging for.
- Once you sign up and complete the survey, you're in. No backing out at the last minute. Non-shipment and non-communication will be a banable offense.

Official Sign Up Survey

Click the following link and fill out the survey completely. This survey is the ONLY way to officially enter. You will be asked for your real name, your WKC screen name, address phone number and email address, along with gift ideas and other interests. After December 15, you will be sent your Secret Santa member's info via. PM. Here's the link to the survey:

https://forms.gle/gFrcW3jf7HW2qsMj7

Once you have completed the above survey, copy the numbered Secret Santa list below and past with your name below so folks can see who is participating.

To keep things simple, we'll use this same thread to reveal gifts as they arrive. Feel free to post your haul, but you are under no obligation to do that.

Secret Santa sign up is closed.  Your SS recipients will be sent out today via WKC PM.  Thanks for participating.

All the Secret Santa PM's have been sent.  Check your PM's.  Since we got such a late start this year, don't worry, rush or stress about getting the SS gifts sent out before Christmas.

Thank you SS!!! I must have been good this year ... haha

I love it!

Merry Christmas!

Cheers.

I made out as well Robert!  Thank you to my SS, perfect gift for me!

Secret Santa had me on the nice list this year.

I received a very nice enameled dutch oven, a vintage tablecloth that I have been on the hunt for for years, a sweet 2024 calendar and a WKC bumper sticker all boxed in an awesome Santa basket that my wife confiscate

Thank you very much!!

Troy, I'm glad everything was a hit, no surprise on the wife snagging the basket. Enjoy and Y'all have a Merry Christmas

Santa WKClaus hooked a grillfella up!!!  Gonna be rubbing and slathering quite a bit this year.  Received plenty of California based rubs and sauces.  Funny little side note...many of these are blended and packaged at a customer of mine here in Wisconsin.  Proudly displaying the Christmas themed WKC magnet on the fridge already.  Love grill books and literature, so the Weber book and Montgomery Ward (made by Happy Cooker) grill manual are perfect.

Thank You!!!

BTW...making the WKC paper to wrap everything was an awesome touch.

You're welcome! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too.

Santa hooked it this year with a bunch of goodies. I'm so happy to join again this year after a multi year hiatus. Thanks, Mike @brewtownbeatdown! I can't wait to try the sauces and rubs. The coasters will get daily use from my morning coffees. I've actually played most of those games this year  :D Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! And s/o to Jim @Cellar2ful for doing a great job organizing.

I MUST revisit my own post!  I finally got to take a close look at my WKC Secret Santa Gift!

This thing is AMAZING!  I've used many different probes throughout the years but none were wireless from the meet to the app.

I just went through all the features and specs....I'm seared (pun intended) with excitement!  I honestly didn't expect this from a Meater thermometer. I had only seen their original version; I received version 2 Plus!

All said, genuinely humbled with such a quality gift and CANNOT WAIT to use it! Beyond thrilled!

THANK YOU TO MY SECRET SANTA!!! You're DaBomb.com!!

For anyone who wants an honest review and look into this gem....

You'll love it... used mine today on my prime rib... so easy and the app even figures in the carryover temp during the rest.  Have fun!

Glad to see everything made it, and that you're feeling like SantaBrew hooked it up.  Once I saw Super NES in the hobbies message, I knew the direction I was likely gonna be heading...I may have played a game, or two, in my younger days.  Not gonna lie, I was psyched when I came across those coasters!!!  Hoping you enjoy the WI sauces and rubs.  That Spicy Pickle is my "go to" for wings, with a spicy(ish) Hatch pepper sauce.

Is it possible to reveal the Secret Santa list?  I'd like to personally thank my Santa if that is okay?

Way late to say thanks but I am very grateful to my Secret Santa.  It's nice to have a set to use as sometimes my daughter wants to experiment in the kitchen too.  I also finally hooked up my turntable to my receiver and speakers.  Tip of the cap to my SS,  thank you!!!
