Yes, I think its a lot like the old daisy wheel kettles. On those you have multiple intake vents, and elect to close two and utilize one rather than micromanaging all three.

Works for me!  Again, your mileage may vary...  (YMMV)

I agree 100%, just neglected to specify that part.
