Got an inch of unexpected snow last night.   Winter hasn’t given up yet.  Summit kamado still running point for me.

Vintage toys come out soon I hope.

Still trying to be winter here. Right at 20 degrees this morning although the sun is shining today. Have been seeing Robins in the yard and Geese flocks moving north so spring is coming. Seeing taps and buckets on the maple trees and some buds pushing out. Some of the early bulbs are pushing green out of the ground.

I think spring has finally arrived here because we've gone from heavy snow:



to heavy rain and now my Ranch is sinking into the ponding water on the surface in my back yard:



I took that picture this morning and it's rained more since.  I've got short ribs braising in a new enamelled cast iron braiser right now instead of cooking in the back yard.
