Hey. My family had our very first cookout in a state park near our home with the '75 grill I got from this forum. I cooked some bratwursts and we had some other food. I brought along my vintage picnic ball and we had fun! It was a long carry from the car to the picnic table. We got out there around 4. Under the trees it wasn't too hot. I guess I have to resize my pics. I tried to post about 5 pics, but it wouldn't let me. One pics said 6.5 MB, I think.

These are some of our pics from Memorial Day '22. Here is my first attempt to post a pic. I hope it works.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. Yes, it was a great setting, underneath trees, which made it feel much cooler for us. That was a fairly hot day, if I remember correctly. We got there after most everyone cleared out. It was just after 4. Thanks for the nice remark about my family, bamakettles. My son and I threw around some of my vintage Wham-O Frisbees. I had one from '66 and a Whirlee Twirlee from '68. I like to bring along the vintage stuff from the '60s and '70's when I go to the park or on a canoe daytrip.

Love the vintage outdoor toys as well. I still have a set of the original lawn darts - Jarts. Don't play with them anymore but remember them well. Still play Frisbee with the grandsons.

My maternal grandmother had Jarts for us that we played with all the time, when we visited. Did you all see my vintage picnic ball that we used? I discovered these things when I was browsing ebay in the collectibles area. Just love Mid-Century Modern and the collectibles from the '60s and '70s.
