Any opinions on the jealous Devil extra large briquettes?

I’ve been searching for JD briquettes locally but no luck yet. I have used Jealous Devil XL lump which bruns clean and smells great but… I prefer briquettes for consistant size and burn time. I dislike how the smal bits fall right through the charcoal grate and are essentially waisted, especially at the prices this brand sells for.

ok, just poured out a chimney, alot of them do crumble. I think they would do better with the snake method
