N-code green 22”
« on: June 11, 2021, 12:53:21 PM »
Just got back from picking up a green N-code 22” kettle. We got this, a used Weber wok, charcoal chimney, and 36 lbs of Kingsford Professional briquettes all for $50. I think we did okay. Our plan is to clean this up and pass it along to our grandson, with the chimney and some of the charcoal. We’re keeping the wok.

Question: I see that this has the sort of lid that would have a removable thermometer, which of course is missing. Can we just go out and get any basic oven test thermometer and fit it, or do I need to look for something specific. I’ve never had a Weber with this lid, so I’m unfamiliar with the specific thermometer.

This is the thermometer that will fit. There are other cheaper versions on Amazon that are the same as well. Not sure how well they work though. Awesome score by the way

You have what is called a One-Touch Plus (OT+). Great score and excellent deal !
Tel-Tru also sells a thermometer that will fit.
Pics of the wok would be great appreciated !
Thanks for sharing.

Thank you all, I was able with the part numbers to find a thermometer on eBay. Hopefully it will be here before we’re ready to bring the grill over to our grandson. I also appreciate being told the exact model. I’ve got a bit of cleaning up to do, as well as refinishing the wooden handles.

Here is the wok. I’m assuming there is no way to tell the age. It’s been well used, but my partner loves it already and she’s started in on reseasoning it.
