Late morning, I'd just finished listening to Michael McDermott love on StageIt do one of my all-time favorite "albums" live, acoustic.  It was already a great day. Fired up the Genny Silver C for some leftover pizza. Grabbed the phone to see what's up. FB marketplace is busy and then....OMG, my heart started beating a little fastrrr..I Click on this mid 70's Lime Seville, posted 2 minutes earlier.  Is it still available?? And i shoot the seller an offer saying I can pick up today. Now the wait begins..ess than 2 minutes later I can see the seller read my message. No reply right away. Hearts beating a bit faster now..about 2 minutes later I get a reply.  "Youre a smart man, Scott" the seller replied. You were the 2nd to respond to my ad and 1st with an offer. He said it mine if I want it. The good...its all original and all there.  Cart is in great shape with perfect tire tread. No rust thru and all tabs are solid. The bad, this lime Seville was spray painted over. Only the outside, both bowl and lid and she's missing a bowl vent and the other 2 are rough amd painted over.. The ugly, nothing really. Except possibly my hands after the RRR of the paint over. Shes beautiful right now in an ugly sort of way...cant wait to see what she looks like all cleaned up.b

Congrats!

I believe this is what I used for paint removal on my yachtsman kettle.  For best results I would lay a paper towel over and area and spray it on so it can soak for 10 or 15 minutes and then used a scraper or steel wool to take it off. Works fairly well as long as the paint isn't baked onto the kettle.  Then it is just more scrubbing.  Good luck!

I'd recommend a bunch of razor blades and Jasco Paint remover.  It helped a ton with the silver lime and Glen Blue Brownie
