SS Performer table top
« on: July 19, 2020, 11:37:57 AM »
I am restoring a 1991 Red Performer which I bought new that year.  One thing I need some help on is the rod the the SS table top uses and how to take it apart without ruining it.  I have some dents in the top and wanted to push them out before I use Barkeepers Friend on it.  Any help would be appreciated.

Take a screwdriver and pry it from the back lip of the table toward the front of the table. Once it pops loose pull it to one side and flex until that side come out.
