Pizza plan. What to tweak so it works?

I don't have any fancy pizza stones or anything yet. But I do have a Lodge 12" square cast iron griddle like this and my 22" Performer. Should I cook the pizza indirect or direct with this cast iron pan?

If Indirect, what stove temp should I aim for and how hot do I want that pan before I put the pizza on it?

If direct, how long to preheat that pan over coals?

 I have the Lodge Pizza 14" Pizza Pan in which I like to get my Weber Performer Deluxe(WPD) as hot as I can but shooting for a minimum reading of 450F+ lid temperature. Oh, I set my WPD for a Indirect Grilling Session when grilling Pizza and when I reach my desired Grill temperature I preheat my Pan for around ten(10) minutes.
