Yes. It is most effective if you can immerse the object and let it sit.   If you cannot do that, paper towels saturated and draped over parts work well.

If you use this product a lot then I would recommend the 3.5 gallon size currently.  The price is $54.01 or $15.43/gallon.  This also comes with a basket so you don't have to dunk your hand into the mixture to get your parts out.  This is a third party vendor so that comes with the benefit of no taxes to be paid, but with the downside of slower shipping.  I actually just ordered two buckets of it as my 5 gallon I bought this spring is about done.
