Hello Fellow Weber Enthusiasts!

I was interested in any resources you may know of for custom or personalized (heat resistant chrome, aluminum, etc.) emblems or labels for use on the lids of Weber Kettle grills.  I have a 3" X 5" section on the lid of my 22" Weber Kettle I am needing to cover-up.  I would even be happy if it just said Weber.

Thank You for your assistance!

That one might be a little tricky or expensive.  I don't think there is anything quite like you are asking for other than a really large thermometer.  It would probably have to be custom machined and that can get expensive.

Maybe you should add pictures to see if anyone else has ideas?

You COULD have a stainless plate lazer etched with what ever and then use stainless rivets to add it to your lid. You would have to punch holes but its an idea

I think matching the contour of the lid will be the hardest part. I dream up these ideas all the time too! Look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Depending on where the area of concern is you could mark drill and add another top vent

This guy had an idea, but I don't know if he used high temperature paint.

I've only seen pictures of these & wondered if it was something Weber did or if Klein Tools did it themselves.  I'm guessing that it would cost a fair amount for a one-off in the size you are looking for.

Are you trying to create a logo or cover up a logo you hate?
How "professional" does it have to be?
If you want a rustic look, you could take some copper plate & poke holes in it to create a pattern like you see in old pie safes or whatever they are called.

Hal

That Klein is a real Weber deal, and probably the most unique logo in my collection. Klein had Weber produce these and where available for purchase at most electrical supply houses.

@JEBIV Did they drill a hole through the lid to attach the medallion?

If money is not an issue, then maybe you can make an offer that can't be refused, to one of our ever expanding WKC U.K. members, for one of those new Master-Touch GBS Premium E-5775

I would think they would just drill a hole.  It would be super easy for them to do logos this way on a lid that is already made to have a thermometer installed.

On a side note too bad they didn't do the Klein kettle in their standard yellow they use on packaging!
