Ribeyes, Dual OTP and Cast Iron
« on: June 09, 2019, 06:41:01 AM »
Well did some yard work yesterday and my wife surprised me by buying ribeyes, corn, taters and asparagus.

Started by soaking the corn in sugar water then par boiled the taters and asparagus. I wanted onions so sliced up a big onion added salt, steak seasoning butter, water, and pepper placed into a tin and covered with tinfoil.

Once the taters and asparagus were done my wife wrapped the asparagus in prosciutto sprinkled with fresh parm then seasoned the taters with butter and Weber season salt.

Started two grills up one frame two grills. I did a full chimney for 1 and 3/4 chimney on the other. I set both at 2 zone fire and used my old Wagner cast iron skillet.

Taters, corn, and onions on first. Once they were about 3/4 way done on goes the steak. First direct then onto the cast iron skillet.

This is it...

Nothing better than a nice day, meat,  and a Weber grill.

Thanks. I love the Dual OTP and the food was great also. My next custom grill is taking more time than I thought it would.

@WNC  Yes another custom in the works. I love the Dual OTP but I'm building something for the Wisconsin house at this time. Not giving anything away yet but if all works out will have a battery in it  ::)
